Visa has expanded its successful #TravelWithVisa campaign in Asia-Pacific through new partnerships with five international airlines—Air New Zealand, All Nippon Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, EVA Air, and Singapore Airlines. This collaboration aims to offer premium benefits and rewarding flight experiences to outbound travelers from Hong Kong and Macau.
The initiative highlights Visa’s intercity smart mobility solutions, designed to improve the door-to-door travel journey, while also providing exclusive merchant offers and access to major events across the region for Visa cardholders.
With a regional focus, the #TravelWithVisa campaign connects travelers to key destinations in Asia-Pacific. Visa’s multi-phased approach seeks to enhance travel experiences, increase travel spending, and contribute to the region’s tourism economy. The company reported a 26% increase in cross-border trips within the Asia-Pacific region in 2024, well above the global growth rate of just 1%.
Visa also noted that the region is crucial to the future of tourism. Seven of the top 10 fastest-growing travel destinations globally in 2024, based on arrivals, are in Asia-Pacific, including Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.
