Starting in May, Vietnam Airlines will launch two new nonstop routes between Hanoi and India. The airline will offer flights to Bengaluru and Hyderabad, operated by its Airbus A321 aircraft, featuring two classes with recliner seats in business class.
The Hanoi-Bengaluru route will begin on May 1, with four weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Hanoi-Hyderabad route will follow on May 8, with three weekly flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
These new routes reflect Vietnam Airlines’ commitment to providing more travel options and strengthening cultural and economic connections between Vietnam and India.
In addition to the new routes to India, Vietnam Airlines will increase services on its Hanoi-Manila route starting April 1, with daily flights. The Ho Chi Minh City-Manila route will also see four weekly flights.
The airline will also restart its nonstop Hanoi-Moscow service on May 8. This route will initially operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with future increases planned. The Moscow flights will use Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, featuring lie-flat business class seats, premium economy recliners, and economy seats.
Vietnam Airlines emphasizes that these route expansions and increased frequencies are part of its strategy to enhance global connectivity and improve operational efficiency.
