At the 13th Flyer’s Preferred Award Ceremony held in 2025, Plaza Premium Group’s (PPG) Smart Traveller digital experience and rewards platform was named the “Flyer’s Preferred Innovative Loyalty Program of the Year.” The ceremony, co-organized by CAAC Inflight Magazine, the official publication of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), and FlyerT, China’s leading social networking platform for frequent flyers, celebrated industry achievements in business travel.
Simon Huang, Managing Director of Smart Traveller at Plaza Premium Group, accepted the award on behalf of the company. China Airlines Earns Prestigious Global Awards for Onboard Services
Taiwan-based China Airlines (CAL) recently received a trio of esteemed international awards for its outstanding onboard services. A reader’s poll conducted by PAX International, a leading airline industry magazine, named CAL the winner of the Best Business Class Amenity Asia and Best Premium Economy Class Amenity Asia. Additionally, Onboard Hospitality magazine awarded the airline for its Best Onboard Special Meal or Product.
The awards reflect global recognition of CAL’s consistent efforts to enhance the passenger experience. PAX International’s readers and a panel of expert judges chose CAL for its premium amenity kits, which include collaborations with luxury brands. CAL’s Premium Business Class kits, in partnership with MOSCHINO, combine practicality with style, while its Premium Economy kits, created with Canadian brand Roots, offer cozy comfort. Both kits feature eco-friendly materials, aligning with the airline’s commitment to sustainability.
