BBN Airlines Indonesia, a leading provider of ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) solutions and a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, has entered into a wet-lease agreement with US-Bangla Airlines, one of the largest airlines in Bangladesh, to support its growing operational needs.

Under the terms of the agreement, BBN Airlines Indonesia will supply US-Bangla Airlines with two Boeing 737-800NG aircraft. The first aircraft began operations on April 1, 2025, with the second scheduled to enter service in early May 2025.

Both aircraft, configured with an all-Economy layout, will serve international routes from Dhaka to the Middle East, Thailand, the Maldives, and Singapore. The aircraft and crew will be fully based in Dhaka, ensuring seamless integration into US-Bangla Airlines’ existing operations.

BBN Airlines Indonesia will provide a full ACMI package, offering not only the aircraft but also experienced flight and cabin crew, maintenance, and insurance coverage. This arrangement allows US-Bangla Airlines to focus on its network management and customer service while benefiting from the flexibility and reliability of BBN Airlines Indonesia’s expertise in ACMI solutions.

Martynas Grigas, Chairman of BBN Airlines Indonesia, expressed pride in the partnership, stating: “This agreement represents a significant milestone in our expansion within the Asian market. We are pleased to support US-Bangla Airlines with high-quality ACMI capacity that aligns with their strategic goals and operational requirements.”

Jitendra Pandey, Head of Commercial & Contracts at US-Bangla Airlines, also shared positive sentiments, noting: “US-Bangla has consistently sought reliable partners for ACMI leases. With BBN Airlines Indonesia joining us, this is our second ACMI partnership with Avia Solutions Group. Our previous experience with their companies has been very positive, particularly due to their ability to understand and adapt to the unique operational and cultural demands of the region. We are optimistic about a successful and long-term partnership with BBN Airlines Indonesia.”
